On the property bar, set any attributes for the tool.
Click ObjectEdit pathBrushstroke from path.
If you want to reapply the brushstroke, click EditRepeat brushstroke.
You can reverse the direction of a stroke by clicking ObjectEdit pathReverse Brushstroke from Path.
You can paint along a specific part of a path by selecting the area with a mask tool. For information on masking, see “Working with masks.”
To repeat a saved brushstroke along a path
Click one of the following:
Image sprayer tool
Replace color brush tool
On the property bar, set the attributes for the tool.
Click EditRepeat brushstroke.
In the Repeat stroke dialog box, choose a stroke from the Stroke list box.
Modify any attributes.
Click the Repeat stroke along path button .
You can load a path for the brushstroke by clicking the flyout button above the Stroke list box, and clicking Load path as stroke. Choose the folder where the path file is stored and double-click the filename before modifying the attributes in the Repeat stroke dialog box.
